SIC Insurance pays over GH¢ 32.5million in claims in 2014 -an increases of 58% over previous year
SIC Insurance Company Limited, the nation’s preferred largest non-life Insurance Company in line with its objective to settle legitimate claims promptly, paid over GH¢32.5 million in claims in the year ending 2014. This figure represents a fifty-eight per cent (58%) increase compared with the 2013 figure of GH¢20.5million. By this the company is returning substantial parts of premium mobilized to its customers who suffer one form of lose or another.
This was made known during a media interaction with the Management of the company. So far this year, the company has paid over GHC4.6million in claims. By this SIC Insurance, the country’s largest risks underwriter is still leading the way in claims payment in the industry.
With the coming into effect of the SIC Insurance’s new claims code, the company has put in place a more efficient process to shorten the turnaround time for claims processing. This the company believes is their commitment to achieving a stress-free claims process.
