SIC Insurance PLC Mourns with the Kingdom of Dabgon

SIC Insurance PLC has expressed its condolences to the Chiefs, elders and people of Dagbon, following the death of the Overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Ndan Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II. 

On behalf of the company, the Tamale Area Manager of SIC Insurance PLC, Alhaji Nurudeen Alhassan, on Friday, July 24, 2026, led a delegation of staff to pay their respects at the Gbewaa Palace in Yendi to commiserate with the Royal Family, Chiefs, elders and the good people of Dagbon.

The visit reaffirmed SIC Insurance PLC's cordial relationship with the Gbewaa Palace and its solidarity with the people of Dagbon during this period of mourning. Alhaji Nurudeen Alhassan expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, traditional authorities, and the entire Dagbon Kingdom, praying for strength, comfort, and peace for all in this time of loss.

After signing the book of condolence, Alhaji Alhassan said, “His Royal Majesty was a repository of wisdom and traditional knowledge, and the character and virtues he espoused, ensured lasting peace in the Kingdom during his reign.”
