SIC Insurance PLC, Ghana’s largest indigenous general insurance giant has pledged support for Her Royal Highness Lady Julia Osei Tutu’s groundbreaking project aimed at revolutionizing women's wellness and mental health care in Africa.
At a series of ceremonies in Kumasi to launch the Lady Julia Eve Wellness and Women’s Mental Health project, the Managing Director of SIC Insurance, Ms. Hollistar Duah-Yentumi, said women face significant disparities in mental health care and understanding these differences requires an appreciation for the multiple roles that women play in society. She added that it is time to make mental health among women a priority at the highest level.
The Managing Director of SIC Insurance further said SIC Insurance as part of its corporate social investments will support the Eve Women’s Health and Wellness program through the various stages and also serve as the official insurer for the center.
