SIC Insurance Company, Ghana’s largest insurance company has donated an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS30,000.00) to support West Africa’s leading Orthopedics center – the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCUS).
SIC Insurance Company, Ghana’s largest insurance company has donated an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS30,000.00) to support West Africa’s leading Orthopedics center – the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCUS).
This forms part of SIC Insurance’s corporate sustainability initiatives for the year 2018. Speaking to the media, Mr. Stephen Oduro, the Managing Director of the company stressed that as a good corporate citizen, SIC Insurance believe in creating shared value in the society thus the company’s new shared value model. The model allows SIC Insurance to partner foundations such as FOCUS to help address societal needs.
FOCOS is a foundation which was started by Prof. Emeritus Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, a renowned orthopedic surgeon, with the aim of providing treatment for people with spinal curvature disability in Africa at a very subsidized fee.
