  • Supreme Court upholds SIC Insurance’s case against Ivory Finance Company.

    The Supreme Court in a unanimous decision upheld SIC’s appeal against Ivory Finance Company Ltd regarding a credit guarantee case which has been in court over the last five years. The Highest Court of the land made orders remitting the substantive matter of fraud to be heard on its merits by the High Court.
  • Sic Health Service Outdoors New Bob Freeman Hospital Project

    SIC Health Services, one of our new subsidiaries has launched plans for the New Bob Freeman Hospital that will offer state-of-the-art one-stop world class health care delivery.
    At a well-attended ceremony in Accra, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Mike Hammah said “SIC Insurance Company Limited has a long standing history of spawning profitable companies. Notable among them are SSNIT, Ghana Re, SSB Bank (now Societe General), and SIC Life Insurance. These are the few examples that readily come to mind.  Most recently, other spin-off subsidiaries have been SIC Financial Services Limited and SIC Properties.” 
  • SIC Insurance Makes Giant Financial Strides

    Ghana’s foremost general insurance risk underwriter, SIC Insurance Company Limited, has recorded increase in its profit ratio. The company posted an unaudited profit after tax figure of GHS 9,530,103 in the year ending 2015, representing a 14% increase over the 2014 figure of GHS (8,303,403) 

  • Kotoko Lifts New SIC Insurance Trophy

    Kumasi Asante Kotoko, one of the biggest football clubs in Ghana has won the SIC Nyemitei/Sports Writers Association Cup Match for a record 14th time by beating Obuasi Ashanti Gold by a lone goal through a late free-kick from left-footed Eric Donkor. This was enough to deliver the new 2015 HP Nyemitei SWAG Cup to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.
