    At the maiden edition of the Ghana Insurance Awards held at the plush Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, SIC Insurance was decorated with five awards out of the seven categories that the company was nominated for awards.

  • SIC Insurance signs MOU with Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce

    SIC Insurance Company, Ghana’s National Guarantor for the ECOWAS Inter State Road Transit programme and its Burkinabe counter, the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday July 3, 2018 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the implementation of the single transit guarantee system on the Ghana-Burkina Faso road corridor.

    The Board of SIC Insurance has been re-constituted with the Ministry of Finance replacing government’s representation on the Board.
    The members representing the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Finance are Dr. Jimmy Heymann, Mrs. Pamela Djamson-Tettey, and Mr. Stephen Oduro. Mr. Michael Addo replaced the Social Security and National Insurance Trust representative who has retired from the company whilst Mr. James Appietu-Ankrah joins the Board as an independent member.
  • SIC Sales Representatives Hold Delegates’ Conference

    The 9th Triennial Delegates’ Conference of the sales representatives of the country’s leading general and life insurance companies – SIC Insurance and SICLife Company respectively was held in Ho in the Volta Region on the theme “Improving Insurance penetration in Ghana – The Role of Insurance Sales representatives” with over 90 selected delegates from across the country attending.
